Marlon Lemond, CFM, serves as the Planning Director for the City of Zachary. As Planning Director, he acts as City Planner, Code Compliance Officer, and Floodplain Manager. He has a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and is a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) through the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM).

Public Hearing - Planning and Zoning
The following Public Hearing signs have been officially posted on property locations by the City of Zachary Planning and Zoning Office. These signs indicate that applicants have submitted proposals that will be discussed in a public hearing at the next Planning and Zoning Meeting, scheduled for Monday, March 11, 2019 at 6:30 p.m.
The Planning and Zoning Commission will take these matters under advisement based on its compliance with the Unified Development Code and Master Plan, and make recommendations to the City Council to either approve or deny the requests. The City Council will convene on Tuesday, March 26 at 6:30 p.m., where the final decision will be made on these items. All public meetings are held at City Hall, located at 4700 Main Street. Any resident may speak at the Public Hearing after being recognized by the moderator.
